Pattern

This image shows pattern because there is a repeat in the elements of arts that are present. The texture, contrast, color, and lines are shown multiple times in the two pieces of wood.

Variety

This image shows variety because there are multiple elements of art. The trees show line and maybe shape, there is value because of the darker tree branches compared to the snow, and there is some color in the sunset.

balance

This image shows balance because the elements of art are equal (or balanced) from one side to the other. The light and the water in the back on one side is balanced and spaced on the frame with the road. The image is not symmetrical but almost asymmetrical which makes it appealing to the eye.

proportion

This image shows proportion because the wood of the deck is in front of so therefore covering and bigger than the two trees in the distance The proportion between the deck and the trees are not equal because I took this image close to the deck.
